Better late than never! Samantha was two months old on December 17th. Below are some pictures and events of her 2nd month. We celebrated her first holiday - Thanksgiving at 3 different places. Unfortunately she didn't do to well at Stephen's cousins house on Thanksgiving night and we had to leave early. We also had a rough first night up in South Bend (but the great news is that she slept the entire car ride up and back!). Samantha weighed about 8.5 lbs when she was 2 months old, so slowly and consistently gaining about 3-4 oz a week. We still go to the lactation group each week so I can ensure that she is gaining weight and see how much she takes in at each feeding (3 oz), its a nice reassurance since everybody seems to think she is such a small little peanut. (Her doctor and the lactation consultants are ok with it since she is consistent and eating well). She is still a very colicy baby and unfortunately cries ALOT. We have tried every recommendation to help and even have been taking her to a chiropractor after first knocking the idea down. We have heard from several people that it is really helpful. One thing that we have noticed is that she is content for longer periods of time, and we are able to set her down, which we weren't able to do before. She still has the sweetest smile and her eyelashes seem to get longer by the day. It seems that when we are at our breaking point, she can feel it and show you her sweet side and you feel as though you can handle the screaming a little longer :) She is still not sleeping through the night; up ever 3 - 4 hours and the crib still isn't our friend, but we are persistent. Keep on keepin on!

Those eyes melt your heart!
After a long day at work, daddy just needed a little Samantha love
One of the few walks that we were able to take before the temperature got too cold. She really seems to like her carrier and we can't wait until it gets warm again so we can go on more walks!
A stare down between Mac and Samantha, she isn't sure what to think of this crying baby yet
Posing for mommy
Most of her clothes are still too big for her - including all hats! Lights out :)
